Mobility is a "taken for granted" thing. Most people do not understand how hard it is to get around some days.
There is many ways to get help. First and foremost, just ask your Dr for advice and reccomendations on how to help you get around.
My Dr is wonderful and beleives that whatever helps make things easier for Lupus patients is what needs to be prescribed.
In most public places like the airport, there are wheelchairs available. Getting tired easily is one of the main things that happens to me. If there is help available...USE IT
Also, mobility scooters are a great thing to have if walking long distances is tough. There are several models and several different types. Choose the one that works best for you. I personally chose one thats easily transportable. It costs less that $200 and breaks down to fit in a small space in the trunk of my car.
Try not to be embarrassed to ask for help. Its there for people like us.
